What is the Student Society?
Vestfold Student Society is a voluntary organisation at The University of South-Eastern Norway, which organizes sports, cultural and social activities for the students at Campus Vestfold. Our office is located inside the fitness center at Campus Vestfold.
Who are we?
The student community consists of a 9-person board that keeps the wheels in motion with several committees and sub-groups and is dependent on volunteers to contribute. On Thursdays, we arrange parties or quiz at Lace in Horten. The semester start in august at Campus Vestfold, we have a festival where we give the students a great start on the new school year with concert, standup and more! During the year we also arrange UKA, trip to Hemsedal, CampusLAN, to name a few.
We are proud to offer a wide range of sports teams, such as soccer, handball, volleyball, climbing, field hockey and badminton. Most of the training takes place in the gymnasium Campus Aren at Campus Vestfold, which has modern facilities with a climbing wall.
How?
Vestfold student society is a member-based organisation and you must be a member to participate in our sports teams, choirs and social groups. It costs 300,- for the school year and 200, - for half a year. As a member, you get many great benefits like free or cheaper entry to our events and discounts at some selected stores, restaurants, etc. On the parties and quizzes, you get very good prices for food and drink as a member. We also need volunteers for our events. As a volunteer, you get your own good deals.
